The purpose of Forum Theatre based learning is to demonstrate how your own behaviour affects the behaviour of those with whom you are communicating.  The actors draw upon their drama expertise to replay scenarios using alternative behavioural characteristics.  Most importantly, actors are able to respond to interaction realistically, displaying anger, interest, empathy, as appropriate to the communication.

In this way, actors are able to illustrate to the group how one’s own behaviour and language influences the outcome of a communication with a colleague, a stakeholder, a client, a customer.
